With the kids being so little, we kind of figured a big vacation was a waste of money. So we did the “Staycation”, sort of…We visited Troy’s family at the cabin and the boys went on their first quad ride… Cooper cried until we got going, but then loved it.
Chase was all over it from the start.![]()
Then as soon as we got back they ran for the pool I had set up for their “bath” before bedtime… ![]()
but Cooper decided it would be much more fun with clothes on.
Grandpa Randy gave the boys these chairs that turn into sleepers
They love them. They have never really been into TV, but his last week the show “Cars” was on and Troy showed Cooper how the TV was the same as the chairs and Cooper was all over it wanting to watch it. Only he doesn’t say “Cars” he says “Fuffs”(trucks).
We also went out to the airport to see “A-panes”. ![]()
Cooper and Chase love them, but especially Cooper.
He goes crazy whenever he hears one or sees one.
We also went to the zoo(no pictures, forgot camera) and then camping with my family up at Tibble Fork. Pretty place to camp, lousy camp managers(and rude!) But we had fun just chillin’.
Cute little Ellie was really good and happy!
Contrary to what this picture might show :)
I had my birthday up there and my Dad got me a yummy chocolate cake! It was fun to be with everyone!
The boys got all set up in the cage and were happy as long as they had brooms to play with.
And Troy was happy in his new chair with his phone(even with no reception).
We also went fishing. Uncle Pete set them up with their own poles.
But really all they wanted to do was whack the water with the pole or throw fists full of dirt in the water. All in all it was great time together as a family!
