The turkey day is at hand. We are heading off to Las Vegas to spend the holiday with Troy's family. It will be our first trip with the babies. I'm sure it will be an adventure. They really are good babies and I hope they will be good for that long in the car. They are usually pretty good in their car seats, so I'm hopeful. I will say that getting 4 people ready to go on a trip is a little more involved. Troy and I used to pack up and leave fairly quickly. But getting ready for babies is a little different. You have to have a contingency plan in case of puke or poop. But I do think it will be fun. Sometimes when you go to other family's home for Thanksgiving you're not sure how the food is going to be. But I will say that Troy's Grandpa and Grandma are very good cooks and I know the food is going to be delicious. I love thanksgiving food and I'm looking foreward to it. Also, my Mom makes wonderful stuffing and she said she'd make me a pan for when I get home. Yum!
This is the time when we usually go around the table and say one thing we are grateful for. I can never choose just one. So here it goes... I am so grateful for so many things this year. I am so grateful to have Cooper and Chase. I'm so grateful for Troy. He is a wonderful husband(this is the cheesey part). He is so supportive of me being home and raising our boys. I'm grateful I get to be a stay at home mom. I'm so grateful I'm a mother. I'm so grateful for my wonderful parents. I'm grateful for my wonderful supportive family. I'm grateful for Troy's family. I'm grateful for my freedom and for those who fight for it. I'm grateful for my Savior. We are so blessed!
Happy Thanksgiving to all! Enjoy the bird and all the fixins!

Kim- How exciting, a new first for the boys. I will probably have to post this on my blog also but I think that my most memorable Thanksgiving was Pete's heart attack. It was then that I knew that you and I would be great friends, I am thankful for you always. Have a great Thanksgiving and a safe trip with your boys, all three! Love you, Mattie

I'm thankful for you, Kim! We'll be missing you this holiday. You're boys are looking so handsome. Enjoy your trip.
Hey Kim-
Great to see you guys for Thanksgiving! Here's the site for the little pacifiers I was telling you about. These are the different kinds: http://wubbanub.respironics.com/ so go to the "online store" link on the bottom of the page to order. They're $10 and way cute! The girl I watch that has one is actually able to pick up the animal now to put the pacifier in her mouth herself.
Hi everybody!! .!! Happy Thanksgiving! :) :) :)
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, and every yr I like to get into the mood-extend the holiday, when it were-by reading "Thanksgiving novels." Not surprisingly, these stories are mostly about friends and family, about coming together to heal old hurts and giving thanks for the gift of love. . .. ===
Do You Think You're Better Off These days Than You Had been two Years Ago?
